Brevard Hawaiian Dancers, also known as Halau Ilima O Pololika (Florida) is a traditional Halau (hula dance school) where students will learn and grow their knowledge of not only Polynesian dance, but Polynesian cultures as well. We are a non profit organization, focusing on culture, education, families and communities. Under the instruction of Christina “Chrissy” Uluwehi Sulfridge who has over 38 years of Polynesian dance, performance and tradition experience. Chrissy has a true passion for sharing “Aloha” with others that shows. Our Halau is not just about hula dancing, y joining our Halau, you will experience lower impact exercise while learning traditional songs, dances, music, history and language of Hawaii, Tahiti, Maori of New Zealand, and Samoa.
